The minister of Public Health and Population checked the progress of the project to complete the building of the Faculty of Medicine at Ibb University

The Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil, the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb,  and the Governor of Ibb Abdulwahid Salah, inspected today the progress of work on the project to complete the building of the Faculty of Medicine at Ibb University.

The first phase of the project, which consists of six floors, includes finishing terraces, halls, laboratories and offices of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The President of the University, Abdul-Malik Al-Saqqaf, explained to them the progress of studies at the Faculty of Medicine for the current academic year.

The Minister of Higher Education considered the completion of the project to construct a building for the Faculty of Medicine at Ibb University in light of the aggression as a great gain for Yemen and a message of the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of aggression. He praised the role of Ibb University in implementing the medical and educational projects needed by the governorate and the homeland in general ... stressing the readiness to support the efforts of Ibb University and the Faculty of Medicine in various aspects.

While the Minister of Public Health and Population praised the efforts of the university and college leaders and those concerned in completing the construction of the College of Medicine building, which represents the nucleus of a medical city that guarantees the advancement of the health sector, he expressed his readiness to provide for the equipment needs of the faculty laboratories and laboratories to ensure the graduation of qualified student cadres.

In turn, the governor of Ibb considered the completion of the first phase of the project as an incentive to start the remaining phases as a translation of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, especially with regard to higher education projects.

For his part, the President of Ibb University called on the concerned authorities, organizations and businessmen to contribute to completing the remaining and stalled infrastructure in the college and university.

He emphasized the continuation of implementing university projects until the completion of the infrastructure, starting with the buildings of the faculties of medicine and agriculture, the central library, and the buildings to be completed ... appreciating the support of the governorate's leadership to complete the construction of this medical edifice.
