Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor praised the role and leadership of the Ministry of Public Health and Population towards reducing health challenges and its responsible handling of international and international organizations and specific initiatives of the private sector.
This came during a meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel today, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Amanat Al-Asimah, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Drug Bank, Mohamed Salah, Executive Director of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Muhammad Locka, and Chairman of the Health and Drug Committee of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, President of the Relief and Drug Fund, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saeedi.
They discussed the bank’s activities and ways to enhance and develop its valuable roles in alleviating the suffering of patients, including the humanitarian role towards society.
Salah gave a presentation on the bank’s activities in the previous period and its future plan towards patients. He highly appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Health with the bank through the existing coordination in developing plans and defining the appropriate mechanisms for distributing medicine and contributing to providing the shortage, whether in hospitals or directly to patients.
He considered this an embodiment of a real partnership and reinforcing the concept of community solidarity ... indicating that the medicine bank's services include the governorates of the republic in north, south, east and west Yemen.
In turn, the Minister of Health praised the activities of the leadership of the drug bank and members of the board of directors and their efforts towards society, as well as their coordination with a number of organizations for the benefit and assistance of patients.
He noted the activities of the Chamber of Commerce with a social dimension in many areas, especially while facing the Corona epidemic, by distributing relief materials and aid to the needy without discrimination.
