Minister of Health: Yemen sees record increase in cases of brain and nerve malformations with increasing use of toxic weapons by assault

The Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Yemeni Association of Neurosurgery and Spine launched the third conference on neurosurgery and spine today on Wednesday.

Health Minister Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel said Yemen was witnessing a record increase in cases of brain and nerve malformations, with the increasing bombardment of aggressor countries with their toxic weapons on civilian property and areas.populated.

The health minister said countries of aggression still prevent the entry of diagnostic devices for neurosurgery and worsen the suffering of thousands of patients and the deterioration of necessary medical services.

He pointed out that most magnetic resonance devices are almost shut down due to the prevention of assault to enter this type of medical device or any of its equipment.

He confirmed that aggression coalition countries are insisting on preventing entry of endoscopes needed for neurosurgery for the sixth consecutive year.
