The Public Health and Population Office in Taiz Governorate today launched a comprehensive assessment of health facilities in the districts.
The teams assigned by the Ministry of Health and its offices in the governorate and the Directorate are targeting field visits to 180 hospitals, units and health centers in the districts of Al-Ta'iziyah - Mawiyah - Maqbana - Sha'ar Al-Salam - Sha'ar Al-Rawnah - Sabr Al-Mawadim - Khadir - Sama - Haifan - As-Silu.
The director of the governorate's health office, Dr. Abdul-Malik Al-Mutawakel, explained that the comprehensive evaluation aims to examine the level of health services provided and to assess the needs of health facilities in each district separately.
He stressed keenness to raise the quality of health services provided to patients and reduce their suffering in light of the conditions the country is going through as a result of aggression and blockade.
