UNICEF official reviews needs of Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in Hodeida

The official of the UNICEF offices in Yemen was briefed on the medical and treatment services provided by Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Al-Hodeida province.
During the visit, the leadership of the hospital staff discussed, with the official of the organization, the priorities of needs in the areas that UNICEF contributes to supporting; Including medical services for children, and ways to enhance work in the departments that provide services to them.
After that, the UNICEF official visited the Children's Ambulance Emergency Center, the Department of Neonatal and Premature Care, the Pediatric Intensive Care Department, the Department of Malnutrition Treatment, and the Center for Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
Obaid and Al Hammadi appreciated this visit and the interest of UNICEF, and the extent of the assessment of the hospital's needs.
While the official of the UNICEF offices in Yemen praised the efforts made by Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in Hodeida in covering the increasing number of patients in its departments and medical centers, and the extent of concern for the quality of services provided to patients despite the difficulties.
He explained that the visit aims to examine the status of the services and needs of the departments and centers related to the field of UNICEF interventions, assess the level of care, and discuss priorities with the authority’s leadership. This contributes to strengthening the role of the hospital and the continuity of its services.
