National & international team visits Al-Sabeen Hospital for Maternity & Childhood

SANA'A September 23. 2023 (Saba)-A national and international team visited today,Satuarday, Al-Sabeen Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Amanat Al-Asimah.
The team concerned with the child protection plan between Yemen and the United Nations, headed by the Advisor to the Supreme Political Council for Diplomatic Affairs, Ambassador Abdul-Ilah Hajar, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mansour, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Akhlaq Al-Shami, reviewed the conditions of children in the hospital who suffer from severe acute malnutrition and those born with congenital deformities.
They listened to an explanation from the hospital director, Dr. Magda Al-Khatib, about the medical services that the hospital provides to this segment, which is considered the most affected by the crimes of aggression and the siege on Yemen.
The team praised the level of health services provided by the hospital to children, despite the scarcity of capabilities and challenges facing the health sector in our country.
