Discussing interventions of EU & WHO in Republican Hospital Authority, Hajjah

A meeting in Hajjah today discussed the interventions of the European Union and World Health Organization in the Republican Hospital Authority in the province.
The meeting, which included the head of the Republican Hospital Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ashwal, technical assistance in the European Union, Morell, and the WHO team, Dr. Muhammad Aref Al-Awa, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Khalil, and Dr. Shamsan Al-Amari, reviewed the projects previously implemented by the European Union in the emergency surgical complex and the possibility of supporting it during the coming period.
The meeting, in the presence of the WHO coordinators in Hajjah, Dr. Khaled Al-Naziri and follow-up and evaluation, Dr. Amin Sharrah, touched on projects supported by the World Health Organization in the oxygen factory, CT scan, malnutrition treatment center, and the possibility of expanding the circle of support for the authority and the oxygen factory.
The delegation of the European Union and the World Health Organization was briefed on the interventions and projects implemented by the authority and the emergency complex, the level of service provision and the necessary need.
The visitors stressed the keenness to expand the intervention department in the psychological unit in the hospital, stressing that the mental health program will be introduced in a number of health facilities in the province during the coming period.
